Multinational manufacturing company with Sales and Operations structures in Russia and CIS.
Our client is looking for a very strong professional to fill a role of Regional Finance Director with the following responsibilities:
▪ Directional responsibility for the Finance Team in all Russia and CIS structures, Sales and Operations;
▪ Ensure technically accurate Russian Financial and tax accounting compliance;
▪ Ensure timely and complete Group Reporting obligations met under IAS;
▪ Responsibility for implementation and maintenance of control around all electronic and manual payments process;
▪ Responsibility for preparation and submission of budget and forecast information as part of Russian management Team;
▪ Commercial finance analysis;
▪ Advice and challenge the Office Directors on financial project management and results, local / international tax related issues, transfer pricing, budgeting and planning, cash flow, etc. and take active part in financial and project reviews.
▪ Full responsibility for the Internal Control framework in appropriate areas and the liaison for all financial audits.
▪ Involvement in new contracts and customers, ensuring that all financial aspects and risks are truly considered and that new customer arrangements show profitability, positive cash flows and that financial risk are properly mitigated at the start of a project.
As part of functional responsibilities the following accountabilities are highly important:
▪ Legal and tax accountability according to legislation;
▪ Profitability control and analysis;
▪ Effective cash management;
▪ Efficiency of debt collections;
▪ Accurate & timely reporting of results in CRS;
▪ Management of forecasting and budgeting process, submission thereof;
▪ Capital expenditure management;
▪ Management and development of direct reports;
▪ Adequacy of internal controls, financial systems, risk management and treasury;
▪ Continuous improvement of business processes;
▪ Setting of cash collection and debt targets;
▪ Business case creation and review;
▪ Effective VAT, Corporation tax management;
▪ ifrs and Russian reporting standards.
The successful candidate will have to following skills, experience and qualifications:
▪ Commercially/manufacturing focused finance professional with recognised qualification;
▪ Strong analytical skills,;
▪ Ability to challenge ways of working;
▪ Strong attention to details;
▪ Strong people manager;
▪ Organisational skills;
▪ Works under pressure to achieve tight deadlines;
▪ Microsoft packages and ERP systems (1C, etc.) - advanced knowledge;
▪ International accounting standards (ifrs) - expert;
▪ Reporting standards and principles (P&L, BSC, analytics, etc.) and forecast ;
▪ Cash flow management;
▪ Project accounting;
▪ Tax planning.
